Who will be Doncasters Best – Bar None?
Doncaster’s evening economy businesses are gearing up for a night to remember at an annual event celebrating the very best of Doncaster’s pubs, clubs and bars. The event which is organised by The Doncaster Evening Economy Partnership aims to recognise the achievements of many of Doncaster’s best-known venues and their staff. The Best Bar None Awards are an integral part of the Evening Economy Partnerships strategy, which aims to reduce alcohol-related crime and harm, raise people’s perceptions of Doncaster and attract a more visitors into the town centre. Councillor Tony Sockett, Cabinet Member for Business and Commerce said: “We want to encourage people to come into Doncaster by providing a safe and pleasant environment where everyone feels welcome and where there is something on offer for all.
