During CenterPoint Energy’s interim portal period (from Aug. 1, 2009 until Jan. 31, 2010 or later) only the REP of record may de‐provision HAN devices. After implementation of the HAN support portion of the Smart Meter Texas common portal, authorized third parties, consumers and the REP of record may de‐provision devices. CenterPoint Energy retains the right to de‐provision misbehaving devices without advance notice.
