Who will be affected by the new Competitive Bidding Program?
The new Competitive Bidding Program applies to all Medicare Beneficiaries whose permanent residence is within a zip code that is part of a CBA, or if Medicare Beneficiaries visiting a CBA obtain certain items. Eventually the program is expected to be expanded nationally. Home Care Delivered will continue to provide a full offering of Mail-order disposable medical supplies delivered directly to the patient’s home nationwide. There were 10 CBAs included in the first round of the Competitive Bidding Program.
