Alcoa is waiting for a legal definition of the matter. the question was always to define to whom these amounts should be paid and in what way, bearing in mind that the current land in definition in the region: if these payments must be made to members of the community of Juruti Velho, residents in the region who are still looking to legalize their land, or to the Federal Government, which owns the land.
