Who / What is the Policing Services Section?
The Policing Services Section, is a unit within Police, Fire & Emergency Services Branch of the Safety Services Division, within the Department of Public Safety. It is responsible for the promotion of policing excellence in the province through training, development of professional standards and supportive policy development, management of the Provincial Police Services Agreement with the RCMP, audits of municipal / regional forces and the provision of advisory services to local municipal councils and the New Brunswick Police Commission.
