The hit and run that happened on the 1st of May in which a 52 year old man named Stewart Dickson was run down was caused by a dark coloured SUV which the police now have in their possession. It seems that the person involved in the accident or incident was an unidentified 20 year old man from the Rutland County. The police have so far neither charged nor identified the individual who came forward with his lawyer once the vehicle was identified claiming that he was the individual involved in the crash. The police are not leaving anything to chance and are investigating the possibility that the accident may have been deliberate. The victim Stewart Dickson was declared dead on arrival after being brought to the Rutland Regional Medical Centre after the incident occurred at the Wale and West Street driveway.
