I’m operating on the assumption that history isn’t just made by the right person, but also by said person being at the right place and right time. I’m also assuming that a lot of the Great Men of History weren’t too different in ability from others at the right place and time, except for getting there first. Still, there are some people whose removal will cause history to be fundamentally different, and not simply slight but understandable. Below is an incomplete list of people who couldn’t be easily replaced so as to keep history on its course. Also, I’m keeping my speculation as conservative as possible.
