Who was the only Australian Senator to be elected Prime Minister?

John Gorton was in the senate when he became Prime Minister but that was following the death of Harold Holt and not as the result of an election. Because the PM is traditionally a member of the lower house he resigned the senate postion soon afterwards and won a lower house seat in a by-election.
