Who was the most eccentric person in history – and why?
To rate a single person would be too debatable and unjust However few of them would be: 1. Hitler; to satisfy his single eccentric whim he led to the slaughter of millions of people. 2. Charlie Chaplin; it has been documented he used to spend most of his time in his bathroom (which also served as a well equipped library which was known to his family only after his death). 3. Gandhiji; though this would be in the good sense. He had the eccentricity to take up the fight against the entire british government and army bare handed and was able to do so with non-violence and peace. And all the time he wore was only a loin cloth and a piece of sacred thread!
