At the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games Sohn Kee-chung won the gold medal in the marathon. Japan occupied Korean at the time so he was forced to compete under the Japanese name Kitei Son. 33 entrants submitted correct answers and Bruce Kivimaki of Eden Prairie, Minnesota is this month’s winner. Bruce receives an autograph by Boston Marathon Champion Lee Bong Ju!
