Andreas Vesalius was the author of the book ‘the seven books on the structure of the human body. It was published in the year of 1543. The original book was written in the Flemish language. The original name was ‘De humani corporis fabrica libri septem. The book was commonly known as fabrica. ‘Seven books on the structure of the body’ was the most widespread as well as accurate with its description of the human body. The book was the most accurate that had ever been published. Andreas Vesalius or Andreas Van Wesel was a Flemish physician. He was born in the year of 1514 in Brussels, the then capital of Art and Learning in Europe. Andreas studied the subject of medicine in the University of Paris. Later he learned anatomy. He was very much concerned with the ancient text that had led him to question the theories of Galen. He died in 1564 in the Republic of Venice.
