Who Was The 6th Wife Of Henry Viii?
The sixth wife of Henry viii was Katherine Parr. She had already been twice married and windowed when Henry married her in 1543. She was a very kind and caring lady and took great care of her stepchildren. She was also a talented nursemaid and would insist to bathe Henry’s leg would and wait on him when he was sick. In the year 1546, her enemies at Henry’s court tried to get her punished for treason by claiming that she was a Protestant. However, Henry appreciated her loyalty for him and could not be convinced by them. She outlived Henry and married Edward’s uncle, Thomas Seymours, after Henry’s death. She dies in 1548 during childbirth.
