Lauren Bacall is still alive at this writing. she had a sort of off-key ( not off-color) but very deep voice . She was married to a prominent actor. Bacall is probably best known for the Broadway show- possibly made into a movie called ( Applause!) not directly stated in the title but was about a Burlesque actress. Marilyn Monroe has been dead since l962. The two actresses were of different age groups, Bacall was older. Lauren is one of those odd, Bi-Gender names. she did have a very deep voice and it is said could sing in the male- tenor-baritone range.
