Rosa Parks was not influenced by the JimCrow signs on the bus that day in a one off event…I’m sure this was the defining moment for her, that was the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’ She was an older black woman, what do you think her life had been like? Told she was inferior because of her colour and her gender, she reacted to a lifetime of oppression, and made her protest. That one brave act! Do not underestimate the courage she showed.
