Who was Mary Jo Kopechne, that her death was less important than the reputation of a man whose family was well-known to side-step the law?
PHEONIX DARK; Mary Jo did not drown….the coroner’s report reads that she suffocated the diver had to disengage her fingers from the headliner and frame of the rear windshield of the car before she could be brought up. Upon examination it was determined that she suffocated and from the air bubble in the car that there was a reserve of almost three hours for her to have done so. THAT is why those of us who know the K’s, and the man, and the TRUE story, remember it….not for some cheap politcal shot but because if he had reported the accident in a timely manner instead of covering his not so narrow azz the woman would be alive today!!
