Who was Marie Curie influenced by?

Yes her father taught physics and math which she was later to pursue and win noble prizes in. When she was young she experienced the death of both sister and mother which led her to give up on Roman Catholicism and to embrace agnostic instead. She suffered from melancholy and perhaps had something to do with her poor upbringing in addition to the deaths. Marie Curie, her husband Pierre Curie and others received a noble prize in physics for discovering radioactivity. Because she was a woman she was discouraged from studying science. Perhaps it was her husband (whom she worked with) who enabled her to study despite the discrimination. Surely her husband influenced her as they worked together.
