Inside its tastefully high-gloss, subtly opulent pages, designed to whet interest in next week’s auction, are hundreds and hundreds of revelatory possessions. Sure, many of them reinforce what we already knew — that Jackie O epitomized style and that nearly everything she handled screamed quietly of elegance. But with an introduction by her friend and one-time White House social secretary, Nancy Tuckerman, we get a glimpse of a different Jackie O: the imp and rabble-rouser.
