All right, so World War II was fought throughtout the world. The Allied Powers, America, France, Britian, Russia, et cetera, fought against the Central Powers, namely Germany, Italy, and Japan. The war had to be fought because Adolph Hitler began to take over Europe and systematically destroy anyone opposed to his personal beliefs and ideals. This includes the Jewish race, Communists, Gypsies, and the mentally handicapped, along with many others. Over thirty million people died in WWII, with more graves of “undesirables” still being found today. America came into WWII characteristically late, after the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, but the war actually started years before this date.
