Guys and Dolls was a Broadway show, maybe later a Movie. A man named Alda, not sure of the first name, had a singing part. He was an ex-burlesque singer, Richard Alda, I believe. Plot made mild fun of the Salvation Army, it was about gangsters and originally written by Runyon.
