One sign that Courtney Love is getting her life back together: She’s just won back custody of her 12-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. On Monday, a Los Angeles juvenile court judge ordered reunification of the mother and daughter, the only child from the singer’s marriage to late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. “Courtney Love’s daughter, Frances, has been returned to her after a judge indicated satisfaction in Ms. Love’s efforts to turn around her life and found it was in the best interests of mother and daughter to be reunited,” said Howard Weitzman, Love’s attorney. TMZ reported that Love lost temporary guardianship of her and Kurt Cobain’s 17-year-old daughter on Friday Dec. 14th; the teen is now in the custody of Cobain’s mother, Wendy O’Connor, and sister, Kimberly Dawn Cobain. The celebrity news site released pictures of the three-long page order. However, the public release did not contain any information as to why Love lost guardianship of her daughter. Love, always known for loudly expressing her thoughts on other people, has recently been in the news for her scandalous Twitter posts. This year, a fashion designer sued Love in Los Angeles, claiming her posts were libelous.
