What leads you to believe that there was any Filipino who invented a rocket ship…? The father of modern rocket propulsion, which began in the early 1900’s, was the American scientist, Dr. Robert Hutchings Goddard. The US manned space program started with the Gemini Missions. The Gemini Spacecraft was designed by Max Faget (British Honduras, known today as Belize) and NASA’s Space Task Group. This was followed by The Gemini program. The Gemini spacecraft was designed by a Canadian, Jim Chamberlin, formerly the chief aerodynamicist on the Avro Arrow fighter interceptor program with Avro Canada. The Gemini program was followed by the Apollo program. The Apollo spacecraft was designed and manufactured by the Grumman Aircraft Company led by Tom Kelly.
