Who Was Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta?
Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta born on February 18th, 1745, was a well known Italian Physicist best known for his research conducted on electric battery during the 1800. Volta was born and brought up in Como, Lombardy, Italy. After completing his education he started working as a professor in the Royal School. Since childhood he was passionate about the study of electricity. In the year 1775 he formulated the Electrophorus, a gadget which would create static electric charge. Later he worked on the chemistry of gases and founded methane. In admiration of his work in the stream of electricity, Napolean made him a count in 1810 and later in the year 1815 the ruler of Austria named him the professor of philosophy of Padova.
