Who was a greater ballplayer, Willie Mays or Henry Aaron?
After viewing their career batting and fielding statistics, they’re very close, but I’d give the edge to Henry “Hank” Aaron. Not because of his HRs because Aaron and Mays averaged about the same number of HRs per year for their career, but because Aaron had slightly better batting and fielding numbers than Mays. Aaron had more outfield assists than Mays (with fewer games in the OF) and had fewer errors as well.
