Who was a better Black Sabbath singer?
Ozzy fit in with the band the best. Dio was the best singer, not because of his range (Ozzy’s was wider), but because the way he could belt out the higher notes. His style didn’t really fit the ‘doom’ style of the band, you know, it didn’t give it that threatening feeling that their early records had. Ozzy may not be the greatest singer, but his voice was distinct enough to fit Black Sabbath’s style.
