Ok, I have figured it out, took me a full day of messing around but done it and at absolutely no cost guaranteed!!!! This is of course just patch unlock so if you re-apply firmware, you will have to follow these steps again but hey, it’s a small price to pay!!! You will need the following: SIMLockPatchGen 2 (free from http://simox.5gbfree.com) SETOOL2LITE (v1.10) XS++ (v3.1) SIMLockPatchGen 2 First of all you need to create the unlock patch Load up the software and then select the MAIN firmware you wish to make the unlock patch from (I presume that this can be any but I chose the K800_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn), it should auto detect which phone it is for and the firmware version. Click on Make Patch and it should create a VKP file (this is located in VKP directory inside the directory SIMLockPatchGen 2 is installed to). Ok, now time to move on.
