WHO WANTS MILTON BRADLEY?
“At the rate things are going this winter, the Cubs soon may be asking the government for a Milton Bradley bailout,” Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune writes. So far, at least six different teams — the Rays, Red Sox, Rangers, Tigers, A’s and Mets — have expressed interest, but most might be feeling a bit gun-shy. “Bradley has a .443 career average at Comerica Park, but Detroit manager Jim Leyland is unlikely to tolerate his shenanigans,” Sullivan writes. NO ARGUMENT THIS TIME Speaking of Leyland, the manager has gotten into his share of spats with umpires over the years. But he says he would have no problem with a rule that cuts down on disputes. “I’ve thought about this long and hard.
