The singer received an ear wax candling kit as a Christmas present from her hairdresser Ken Paves, and the stylist videoed the star testing out the gift at her home, reports the New York Daily News. “Who gives this kind of candle for a christmas gift?” Simpson tweeted. In the clip, Simpson is seen with the lit candle wedged in her ear as she rests her head on a table. The star can be heard complaining that the process is making her feel nauseous. Ear candling has been said to help improve a person’s general health by lighting one end of a special hollow candle and placing the other end in the ear canal.
