Who Uses Historical Research Anymore?
Have you ever wondered whether you are leaving a footprint on the world? Some people these days seem so desperate to leave their footprint on the world that they will go to any number of lengths to leave a piece of themselves imbedded in the annuals of history. If we delve into a piece of historical research we will find out that back in 1968 Andy Warhol made a statement saying: “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.” As time goes by it seems that this is becoming more of a reality. People thrust themselves into the limelight on these horrendous reality TV shows in the name of money and fame. Does it work well not normally, but they have their day in the sunshine, which seems to make them happy, but how did this all start? Well a quick bit of historical research shows that it all started from the Netherlands with a reality TV show called Big Brother.
