Who uses Experian?

Yes. And for mortgages and HELOCS, they use all three bureaus. Only some car dealers will go the cheap route and use TransUnion (the weakest, least reliable and cheapest of the three). Big ticket items require all three so that if you have one credit bureau with an abnormally low/high score you don’t granted/denied credit outside their underwriting standards. Considering that it costs a bank a $1 to pull your credit, it behooves them to get the most data possible when lending you five or six figures for anything. If you were hoping that because you had a lower score on just Experian that you might get lucky and they would check the other two credit bureaus instead, don’t count on it. But you can always walk into your local bank and ask them. Scores can vary by 100 points so only pulling one is a huge danger for any bank and that is why mortgages require a ‘median score’.
