Who understands dog behavior?

Your dog see’s only you as his leader. He barks at everyone else because he feels he is on equal terms with them as a lower ranking pack member. He gets excited in their presence & he is telling you that they are home. Lower ranking wolves are very vocal when they all meet up. He is welcoming them home but respects you enough that he excepts your return without feeling the need to bark. The walking is the same. Lower ranking members fall in behind the leader at the start of a hunt. The top dog always leads the way.He knows he shouldn’t be ahead of his leader. He notices that he is too far ahead & returns to your side. He is following his instincts.
