Who thinks the pill is better than the Depo shot?
Personally I was never confortable with the idea of a shot that would mess my cycle so much that I would either not have a period or have constant spotting etc. The pill is good but for me, I had a hard time remembering to take them everyday. I wanted to go on the patch, but there are weight restrictions on it. IUD’s are not good for me. They can have some serious side effects, cause heavier more painful periods and are not recommended for women who have not had children yet. So that left me with the NuvaRing which I love!!! You only have to worry about it once a month! It’s easy to insert once you get used to it. You can’t feel it, you can have sex with it on, but if your partner doesn’t like it (he will feel it slightly) then you can take it out for up to 3 hours without disrupting the hormone release.
