Who thinks that “Lightning” from FFXIII looks like both Cloud and Aerith?
It’s interesting, some compare her to Tifa. I think that it’s likely that she got the elements of Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa, plus a touch of Yuuna from Final Fantasy X-2. The Yuuna influence is the strongest, since Yuuna is the most recent character and a combination of both Aerith and Tifa. Of course, Lightning probably also was derived from Tina in Final Fantasy VI, whom both Aerith and Tifa were derived from. Cloud – her face and expression, plus the ‘soldier’ look Aerith – her stylish hair, plus her ‘soft’ look Tifa – the way she arrange her long hair and clothing Yuuna – her action girl with weapon look from Final Fantasy X-2 Tina – the first actual main lead character who is a female since Tina Anyway. I like both the pairing of Cloud – Aerith and Cloud – Tifa, but I prefer the Cloud – Aerith more if it’s about the Cloud the player play with, but my ultimate favourite is the pairing of Cloud – Aerith – Tifa.
