Who thinks that 1st world countries take advantage of 3rd world countries?
Not necessarily. This is more of a myth due to the lack of understanding of relative wealth. My wife is Asian born in the US, but her parents were born in Asia. They will be the first to tell you that when American factories open up in a community it is usually the best thing to happen in that community. American companies pay more and are safer than the indigenous factories of the region. To the people of those countries making US’s junk is a dream job. Hard for us to imagine, but without these jobs they would be in big trouble. Also, China and India want the US to one day make their stuff. They are not satisfied just building our stuff.
