Who thinks euthanasia is acceptable in this case?

0

I think that euthanasia is acceptable in any terminal illness or severely paralytic case. ONLY if the person in question desires it. ONLY if there is a waiting period where the person has to actually make their own arrangements and seriously have time to consider the decision. It is true that pain can be managed, and people can be made clean and comfortable, but you have to be able to afford that. Unfortunately, it is a crime to rescue someone from pain. The DEA has new regulations that mean that chronic pain sufferers have to be taken off their pain medications and be restored to baseline every so often. This means that people who truly suffer are made to “rehab” occasionally. This includes elderly and terminally ill people. I hope that euthanasia eventually becomes legal. I’m more afraid of being in this poor man’s predicament than of dying.
