Who The Hell Is Mick Fleetwood?
You may not know who Mick Fleetwood is if you aren’t a fan of Fleetwood Mac, the 1970’s classic rock band. In a nutshell, Mick is the drummer for the band, one of Fleetwood Mac’s founding fathers and one of only two constant members since Fleetwood Mac’s late 1960’s beginning as an English blues band. The band is actually only half named after him. The Mac part comes from John McVie, another founding father and current member. Mick played with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers for a short time, but his most successful stint was with The Cheynes before that. When Mick and two other members of John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, John McVie and Peter Green, broke away from John Mayall, they formed Fleetwood Mac.
