We want to be sure that everyone at ASU can make the most of today’s computing resources, so we teach word processing and online research in our required English 1101 and 1102. If you took either or both of those courses here at ASU, you do NOT have to take the Computer Competencies Test. If you took an equivalent course elsewhere that did not include word processing and online research, then your ASU admissions packet will notify you that you must take this test.
