Seasoned actor John C. Reilly takes on the lead role this time around on FX Channel’s new film. Despite being the perpetual supporting player, he has been regarded as versatile, accomplished comedian / dramatic actor, appearing in more than 50 films. His latest film, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story is a celebrity biography satire, co-written and co-produced by Judd Apatow and Jake Kasdan. Jake Kasdan of Freaks and Geeks and Orange Country directs. Reilly plays Dewey Cox, an outlandish fictitious rock star, parodying some of the famous music legends such as Johnny Cash, Ray Charles Bob Dylan, and Elvis Presley. The film spans the rollercoaster life of Cox as a rock star legend. The film boasts of the thirty-three original songs recorded by the cast.
