Who takes Education credit courses from Continuing Studies in Education?
The typical student in a CSIE credit course is also a B.C. teacher in the K-12 system or another setting. The mandate of CSIE is to provide opportunities for professional educators to enhance professional qualifications and expand their credentials in a number of ways. They may be working toward a post-degree qualification or taking courses to satisfy a district professional development priority, or seeking additional credit as a formal indication of ongoing growth of their professional knowledge and skills.
