Who supports public education more, republicans or democrats?
Every taxpaying American (R or D) financially supports public education, no matter if the public school system is so bad they feel they have to send their kids to private schools. Some public schools are absolutely horrendous. The parents in those school districts should have the option of getting a voucher to send their kids somewhere where they can learn something. I went to a decent public school. My sons went to a decent public school. I find it ironic that Democrats can support the idea of a 14 y/o girl’s choice to have an abortion, but they don’t support an inner-city parent’s choice to send their kids to a better school.
