Who sung the songs “Endless Love”; “Glory of Love”; “A Groovy Kind of Love”; “Unchained Melody”?”
OK, here goes…. ENDLESS LOVE: I believe the original song from the movie in 1998 was sung by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie. I think there was another version done by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey but I do not recall the date. GLORY OF LOVE: I think this one was sung by Peter Cetera who used to sing lead for the band Chicago. Seems like it probably was done in the mid 80s…maybe 1986 or so because it was one of the songs on the soundtrack for Karate Kid 2…I think. A GROOVY KIND OF LOVE: Phil Collins sang this in the early 80s but I don’t recall the exact year. It’s been done more recently by other artists but the first one I remember was Phil. UNCHAINED MELODY: The most prominent group I remember doing this one was The Righteous Brothers and I believe they did it in either 1990 or 91.
