WHO suffers from mental health problems (including depression)?
Depression affects between 1 in 5 and 1 in 6 people at some point in their lives (Depression Alliance, 2003; MHF, 2003a). Anyone can become depressed, people from all backgrounds, all ages, all cultures. Depression is most common in people aged 25-44 years of age (MHF, 2003).
