Who Studies at Concordia?
What does the average Concordia student look like? Depends who you ask. A great majority of our students hail from Minnesota and North Dakota, but we attract students from a total of 38 states and 40 countries. Concordia students are passionate about molecular biology, medieval history and opera. They play NCAA Division III football, intramural volleyball and late-night ping-pong. Cobbers study hard, eat a little too much pizza and love to get out and help others. Why Concordia? Our students choose Concordia because they want more out of their college education. They come for the incredible academic diversity: 78 majors and 12 preprofessional programs, all taught by nationally recognized faculty who are not only experts in their fields, but lifelong mentors who take a personal interest in their students’ success. Our students come for extraordinary, hands-on research experience that prepares them for exciting careers and graduate study. Ninety-six percent of surveyed Concordia graduate
