Who Stood to Benefit from the New Religion?
In order to fully understand who wrote the Christian scriptures it is important to first comprehend, who benefitted by their publication. The article clearly establishes that it was the Romans and not the Jews who were the beneficiaries of the new religion. It was their way of subverting the Jewish Messianic Movement. This is why it is a basic tenet of Christianity that followers believe in one and only one true Jewish Messiah that being the best kind of Jewish Messiah for the Romans, a dead one.
