Who started the protestant reformation?
The Protestant Reformation began on November 1, 1517 when a Catholic monk named Martin Luther posted the “95 Thesis” on the door at the church in Wittenburg, Germany. His Thesis was a declaration of 95 doctrinal and theological ideas that he believe the Catholic Church had gotten wrong. Excommunicated from the Catholic Church, Luther and his followers proceeded to establish churches based on their doctrinal beliefs.
