Who started the Festival and why?
Greg Cosway is the President and owner. Greg attended Carleton University, after which he started “The Gourmet Beer Club of Canada”, the first venture of its kind in the country. This venture opened many doors in Ontario’s thriving beer industry, ultimately leading to the inception of Canada’s largest beer festival – Toronto’s Festival of Beer! It was Greg’s great passion for beer and the prospect of Toronto’s market that motivated him to start the Festival.
