The Family Man was another of TV’s endless stream of series about single-parent households. Southern California fire captain Jack Taylor ( Gregory Harrison), had lost his wife in an automobile accident and now had the added responsibilities of being both father and mother to his 4 children. It was chaos in the kitchen.
