WHO STAFFS TLC CAMP?
The majority of the camp staff are members of the Lombard Junior Woman’s Club, their families, and other volunteers from surrounding communities. Qualified high school students are trained to assist every adult counselor in the supervision of a group of campers. Volunteer nurses are present at all times to meet all medical needs. Each year at camp, the medical staff provides an orientation for all camp volunteers and parents. Good Samaritan Hospital, the local paramedics and the Lombard Police are alerted about the camp. Our Medical Director is a physician in practice at Rush-Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center. WHERE IS TLC CAMP HELD? The TLC campsite is at the Sunset Knolls Recreation Center in Lombard, Illinois, located in the western suburbs and easily accessible from the metropolitan Chicago area.
