Who staffs the Summer Bridge program?
Summer Bridge is staffed by a Community Advisor, Peer Mentor, and Teaching Assistant. The Community Advisor is the lead staff person who is responsible for student engagement in the program and social activities and acclimation to dormitory and campus life. The Peer Mentor is an assistant who is an alumnus of Summer Bridge. The Teaching Assistant provides tutoring during mornings outside of class time. All three staff will live in the dorm over the summer with the students. The hiring for these positions will be completed shortly. Students may also meet with their academic advisors over the summer if desired.
