California “College Goal Sunday” and “Cash for College” workshops are sponsored by the Lumina Foundation for Education and the James Irvine Foundation. The program is coordinated by a steering committee convened by the Governor’s Secretary for Education and includes: the Association of California School Administrators, the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities, Cal SCAN, the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, the California Community College Student Financial Aid Administrators Association, the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, the California Education Roundtable Intersegmental Coordinating Committee, the California State University, the California Student Aid Commission, EdFund, Occidental College, Caltech, and the University of California.
