Who sponsors an affiliate for a NetID?
An affiliate account sponsor may be a Vice President, dean, or department head. The sponsor must be a GW employee, i.e., an individual who holds a paid position with GW. Contractors and visiting scholars: Sponsor is the dean or department head of the department with which the contractor or visiting scholar is affiliated. Medical Faculty Associates staff: Eligible staff are usually sponsored by the Senior Associate Dean for Academic affairs in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, but may be sponsored by another dean.
